Big Dog Ranch Rescue to Benefit as Last Charity, Trefethen Family Vineyards Wrapping Up Table 26 Palm Beach’s
2016 Dine for a Cause Series

On Monday, Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m., 85 prominent individuals and socialites will gather at Table 26 Palm Beach to enjoy an exclusive four-course wine dinner featuring Trefethen Family Vineyards to raise money for Big Dog Ranch Rescue. With more $80 thousand raised as a result of the 2016 Dine for a Cause Series, the team at Table 26 Palm Beach is happy to announce Big Dog Ranch Rescue as the last benefactor this year.

“We have always had one goal: Pay it Forward. This is just one of the ways to give back. Each charity we have worked with is so heavily involved in the Palm Beach community... the culture wouldn’t be the same without them,” said Eddie Schmidt, owner of Table 26 Palm Beach. “This is simply our way to say thank you while promoting awareness.”

The Dine for A Cause dinners offer passed apps, an open bar, signature cocktails, a four-course dinner specifically paired with featured wines, entertainment and incredible atmosphere. The money raised thus far has benefitted the following charities:

  • Palm Beach Opera featuring Joseph Drouhin

  • 211 HelpLine featuring Ruinart

  • Compass featuring Nickel & Nickel

  • Loggerhead Marinelife Center featuring Caymus Vineyards

  • Lighthouse ArtCenter featuring Banfi Vintners

  • Place of Hope featuring Paul Hobbs Winery

    “We chose Big Dog Ranch Rescue for our last benefiting charity because they are a leader in the national animal welfare movement,” said Schmidt. “They have become so effective that they need to expand their facilities to accommodate traffic. We’re going to do everything we can to help them with this endeavor. And we need the community’s help to make THAT happen.”
