Executive Chef Amit Jain joined the Table 26 team in March of 2015 as our sous chef. Amit’s great skill of business comes from his degree in accounting were he successfully ran his family business in textiles, but Amit had an other niche. Amit’s passion for food came from watching his mother cook at home. Later in life he discovered where he needed to be, and that was back in the kitchen. Relating how the freshness of ingredients with the perfect pairing of seasonings resembled the artwork aspect of his family business. Like taffeta silk, Amit’s food has color, beauty and texture. His happiest moment is to walk the dining room and see guests seating back and enjoying great food among family and friends. This is delivered all with his great humility.
